Building U-Boot

U-Boot can be built as part of the PetaLinux build process, as per described in Building PetaLinux.

The user can optionally build U-Boot alone by using the following commands.

$ cd $PETALINUX/software/petalinux-dist
$ make u-boot
$ make image

The above command will build the complete U-Boot image. All image files can be found in the /tftpboot or $PETALINUX/software/petalinux-dist/images directory.
