Feedback from previous events
John presented Xilinx University Program (XUP) training workshops at the 2004 Field-Programmable Technology (FPT) conference, and again at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, in January 2005. Here are some of the feedback comments.
"The labs have been very useful in giving a step-by-step introduction to MicroBlaze uClinux, especially how to configure and download the kernel and applications. The hands-on approach is most useful."
"The most effective element of the workshop was the hands-on lab sessions. The best way to learn is to actually work with the equipment or software. The lab exercises were very useful in explaining the accompanying lecture content."
"(The most effective elements were) the hands-on experimenting with the tools (and) the overview of the uClinux distribution and how it relates to the MicroBlaze."
